CPU Upgrade on HW Node PEMVZMPS18

Over the past few weeks we have noticed an increase in traffic going to a couple of our shared hosting nodes. The nodes are coping with the traffic as normal and the server is not over loaded in anyway.

However when we see such an increase in resources we like to envisage any possible issues and just take them out of the equation completely.

To this effect on Thursday the 22nd of October 2009 at 21:00 we will be performing a CPU upgrade on the hardware node. The estimated downtime for this is no more than 20 minutes.

The affected shared hosting servers are:

pemlinweb19.blacknight.com ( 81.17.254.79 )
pemlinweb20.blacknight.com ( 81.17.254.57 )

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will will update this blog post once the maintenance has been completed.

Update: 27th of October

Due to scheduling issues this upgrade did not occur as scheduled. It will however go ahead tonight.
