Billing and Store Offline

The billing section of our control panel and our online store are currently offline.

We have taken both facilities offline as there are some database issues and inconsistencies that need to be repaired. Since new orders and renewals etc., use the database we have disabled everything while working on the issue

If you need to change nameservers on a domain name please contact our support desk.

UPDATE 0921 - we brought the system back online around midnight last night

The Store and Billing Section of the CP.Blacknight.com will be offline for maintenance from 6:30am on Wednesday the 21/09/2011 for approximately 60 minutes for Scheduled Maintenance.

The Store and Billing section are now online again.

Summary: We've identified a problem within our billing system that is causing issues today. It requires us to perform some actions on certain Database tables in order to fix the issue. So we'll be turning off the store and the billing system for about 1 hour from 12:10 until 13:10 today.

The developers are still working on resolving this issue

UPDATE 1441
The store and billing system has been stable for the last few minutes but our staff are keeping an eye on it. All services should be accessible and normal.

We have just experienced an issue with our frontend server that handles our billing. This server is the public facing and would display all of your billing information etc via the control panel.

Although the server is now back online, the issue was not apparent to the on call engineer last night. This is due to the port online being monitored and not tested. We were basically pinging the HTTP port and some others to see if they were alive and not checking for a response. Needless to say we will be changing this shortly.
