Due to a software issue, which is currently being worked on, we are currently not accepting orders for IE domain names

This issue has now been resolved and IE orders should now be working as normal

We have been notified that the IEDR - the .ie registry operator - will be conducting maintenance on their core systems on January 20th 2010 between 1800 and 1900 Irish time.

During this period existing IE domain names will continue to resolve as normal

New registrations, lookups and modifications will not be possible during this window.

The IEDR are conducting maintenance on their backend this Wednesday starting at 6pm

During this period we will not be able to process any new registrations or handle any updates

Existing IE domain names will not be affected

UPDATE: IEDR inform us that the maintenance window was completed successfully

We are currently experiencing issues with IE domain updates and registrations.

Our technical team are working on a fast resolution

UPDATE: 1630 This issue has been resolved

The IE Domain Registry has announced scheduled downtime for tomorrow evening, March 13th 2009, from 10pm until 2am

All services will be unavailable during this window and we will be unable to process any new registration requests or any updates during this period

Currently registered domain names will be unaffected

The domain search function in our online store is currently taking a long time to provide results. We're aware of this issue and working to resolve it as soon as possible, we believe one of the registrars/registrys we use may currently be having some problems. Once we figure out which one we'll disable it and the store domain search function should return to normal.

Update: 12:22

The domain search function is now working correctly. We're still investigating the cause, but as of 12:22 it's back working. We suspect large logfiles (2GB file boundry) may have caused this, but we're awaiting clarification from Parallels.

We are currently unable to process any requests related to IE domains as the IEDR's website and API is currently offline

Update: All services should now be available, however there maybe a backlog

The IEDR have informed us that their backend systems will not be accessible from 10am to 8pm on Saturday September 27th.

We will not be able to process any new registrations or updates during this timeframe.

Due to unprecedented demand on our new hosting platform we've a backlog of .ie domain names. This is because many of the domains submitted required further validation manually before we can submit them to the registry.

We're working on the store to gather this information correctly. It normally should have had, but because of some JavaScript problems in Internet Explorer 6 and 7 a lot of registrations got through without the details being correct.

We hope to get the new registrations that are pending fixed as soon as we can. Our development and engineering teams are working on the issue as a priority.
